Port Blair, Apr 26: Thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over A & N Islands on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday there are chances of thunderstorm, gusty wind (40-50) kmph, lightning likely to occur at one or two places over A & N Islands. 2) Heavy rain (07-11) cm likely to occur at one or two places over Nicobar Islands.
In anticipation of formation of a low pressure area over South Andaman sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal around 30th April, fishermen are advised not to venture into the Andaman sea and adjoining Southeast and East central Bay of Bengal from 29th April till further notice.
