Port Blair, Mar 27: The Transport Department, A&N Administration is providing the required transport service with its fleet of buses for the movement of employees of various Departments engaged in discharging the essential service. For this connectivity is provided from places like Ferrargunj, Chidiyatapu, Wandoor, Guptapara, Tirur, Tushnabad, Chouldari, Shadipur, Brookshabad, Chakargaon, Garacharama, Manjeri, Calicut, Shadipur, Dairy Farm etc. Timings have been set in such manner that suits the functioning of all essential Departments. These services are available from 4.30 AM and continue till 9 PM every day. Besides this, dedicated buses have been provided for various Departments so as to transport their employees as per the requirement.
However to accommodate more employees, additional trips and services will be introduced from 28.3.2020. Timing details and an interactive route charts have been shared with the Departments.
