Port Blair, March 24: A major bushfire was averted this afternoon occurred near old Sub- Center, Chouldary this afternoon. As per reports, around four fire tenders rushed the spot-on information and immediately took control over the fire otherwise, according to the eyewitnesses, the fire could have taken a massive shape. No casualties or injuries have been reported from the incident and the cause of the fire is yet to be known.
