Port Blair, March 23: To support the general public in any kind of emergency the District Commissioner, South Andaman has assured the State President BJP, Mr. Ajay Bairagi, State President Mahila Morcha, BJP, Mrs. Sampa Banerjee and Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council that he will open a control room to cater the public in any kind of emergencies, if any.
Not only this, after demand kept by the aforesaid visitors that petrol/ Diesel must be provided to PRIs and public representative during emergencies was also agreed by the DC and he assured them that the needful will be done.
Demand to run information bulletin in All India Radio and Doordarshan on COVID- 19 updates was also noted by the DC.
