Campbell Bay, Mar 20: Passenger vessel MV Campbell Bay reached Campbell Bay today and arrangements were made to screen the passengers at Campbell Bay port.
Although it was a welcome move to arrange screening of passenger but it was noticed that medical staffs came for screening had no screening equipments with them.
Screening was more or less for formality which had absolutely no background checks. The administration has definitely taken laudable steps to control/limit the spread of COVID-19 but if necessary equipments are not provided on the ground level, all this efforts will go in vain, said a resident of Great Nicobar.
