Kadamtala, March 16: In a strange incident, four highly venomous King Cobra snakes have been caught from one single house at Kadamtala, Middle Andaman in four different days.
According to reports, on 10th March 2020, a female King Cobra snake was spotted in the house following which the matter was reported to the Social Worker and renowned snake catcher of the area Mr. Subrata Basu, who then came and rescued to snake.
After the female King Cobra snake was caught and handed over to the forest department since then on 12th, 13th and 15th March 2020, three male King Cobra snakes continued to come to the same house, which were also caught later.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, Snake Catcher, Mr. Subrata Basu said that the female King Cobra might have released Pheromones following which it attracted the nearby male King Cobras, hence, all sighted at the same place.
“It is expected that more male King Cobras will come to the same house in the coming days,” Mr. Subrata added.
