Port Blair, March 06: Perveen Charitable Trust assisting Breast Cancer patients and children belonging to weaker section organized awareness education programme from 29-02-2020 to 04-03-02020 on Breast Cancer at Kalipur, Subhashgram, Paschimsagar, Kishorinagar, Ramnagar, Kirein village of Lucknow and Harinagar along with other programme including ill-effects of Tobacco use also distributed reading materials for identification of Breast Cancer at early stage through self examination in the aforesaid villages of N&M Andaman and also requested women to undergo Mammogramy for timely detection of Breast Cancer. Also distributed dresses to children of weaker section of Ramnagar, Kalipur, Lucknow and Harinagar by Labour Commissioner, President, Perveen Charitable and Pradhans of respective Gram Panchayat. They were also explained about the assistance being provided by Sri. Ramachandra Hospital to Andaman Patients particularly Breast Cancer patients on concessional rate after consequent joint working agreement between Sri. Ramachandra Hospital and Unnati. A latest book on ill effects of Tobacco issued by HRIDAY, (a Delhi based organization) working with Unnati and various laws for controlling Tobacco use were also handed over to Pradhan Gram Panchayat for explaining to members in Panchayat meeting and awaring general public particularly youths.
