Port Blair, Mar 01: PBMC has been taking stringent action against defaulters by disconnecting the Water Tap Connection of around 96 Commercial Establishment/Hotels till now.
PBMC once again requests all owners of Domestic/Commercial properties viz., Private Hospitals/Clinics/Schools/Banks/Cineplex/Tuition centre/Coaching centre and all Cooperative Unions/Societies, Public sector units, Political Institutions to clear their outstanding Municipal dues immediately viz. (Property tax, water charges etc) failing which action will be initiated against defaulters by disconnecting Water connection, Electrical connection and suspending Bar/Food & Other licenses. The Enforcement drive will be continuing till the Municipal dues are recovered from the defaulters. A communication received from Revenue Officer, Port Blair Municipal Council .
