Port Blair, Feb 25: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sport, Govt. of India) in collaboration with Gram Panchayat Long Islands organized Neighbourhood Youth Parliament Programme at Gram Panchayat Long Island on 24-02-2020. Altogether 80 participants participate in this programme, in which Mr. Kamraja, Pradhan of Long Island was the chief guest.
Mrs. Lilly Mewa, Zilla Prishad Member was guest of honor. In the beginning of the Programme Mr. Jag Jeevan Ram, District Youth Coordinator, NYK Rangat welcomed the Chief Guest, other guest and participants and brief about the importance of the Programme. The main objective of the programme was to spread the flagship programme of Govt. of India and other benefits of scheme of other departments. At the end of the Programme Miss Sangeeta Bai, NYV NYK Rangat proposed vote of thanks.
