Port Blair, Feb 11: The written examination for admission to Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun for the Term Commmencing from January 2021 will be conducted on 01st June and 02nd June 2020 in Tagore Govt. College of Education, Middle Point, Port Blair.
Only Boys are eligible to apply for admission to RIMC. At the time of admission to RIMC (i.e. on Jan 2021) the boy should either be studying in Class VII or should have passed Class VII form any recognized school. They should not be less than 11½ year in age but should not have attained the age of 13 years as on 01st Jan-2021 i.e. they should not be born earlier than 02 Jan 2008 and not later that 01 July 2009. The Prospectus –cum-application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained by speed post, by sending a written request alongwith self addressed slip with an account payee bank demand draft of 600/-(Rupees Six Hundred Only) for General Candidates and 555/- for SC/ST Candidates alongwith Caste Certificate. The demand draft will be made in favour of “THE COMMANDANT, RIMC, DEHRADUN, DRAWEE BRANCH – STATE BANK OF INDIA, TEL BHAWAN, DEHRADUN, (BANK CODE – 01576), UTTARAKHAND.”
Application in duplicate on prescribed form accompanied by documents to be attached with the application form – 02 (two) passport size photographs, Domicile Certificate, Birth Certificate (issued by Municipal Corporation/Gram Panchayat), SC/ST Certificate and Certificate from Principal of the School in original with photograph on it attesting stating date of birth and in which class the student is studying. The filled in application form should be submitted to the Principal, Tagore Govt. College of Education, Port Blair on or before 31st March 2019. Kindly note the application forms must be sent to the respective State Government and not to the Rashtriay Indian Military College, Dehradun, Uttrakhand, else the form will be invalid.
The viva-voce test is to be conducted by the State Govt. on 06th October 2019 for only those candidates who get qualified in the written examination.
