Port Blair, Nov 21: As part of Navy Day celebrations, Andaman Nicobar Command will organise an Ex-Servicemen Mela on 1st of December 2018 at lecture hall Dweepika, INS Jarawa from 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs.
All Ex-servicemen and Armed Forces widows have been invited to attend the function. Bus Service will be available from Delanipur Junction to INS Jarawa from 0945 hrs onwards on the Mela day.
Representatives from Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), State Bank of India (PB), Army, Navy and Air Force Components will be present to resolve the grievances of the veterans.
Medical checks consisting of blood sugar, blood pressure and weight will also be undertaken for diagnosis of life style diseases. All ex-servicemen & Armed Forces widows are requested to forward their grievances to Command Regimental System Officer, Headquarters Naval Component, C/o Navy Office, Port Blair or Contact on 9711799535, 03192-248294 by 28th of November 2018.
