Port Blair, Nov 21: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, MP met Mr. Arun Jaitely, Minister of Finance, Govt of India on 12.11.18 and presented a letter demanding additional fund of Rs.100 Crores for various developmental works of A & N Island. During discussion, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, M.P has further apprised the Finance Minister about requirement of Rs.100 Crore in addition to the fund requirements already projected by the A & N Administration in RE 2018-19 for undertaking the works for improvement of roads, augmentation of power supply, water supply, Swachhtha Action Plan, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and others developmental activities / infrastructure.
