Port Blair, May 29: State General Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha, Smt Meena Choudhary has requested the women folk of Andaman to support the Bandh of31st May, 2012. “We must convince the importance of this Bandh to our male counterparts and other family members that this is against the most improper trade policy of the Congress lead UPA Government for which we have to shoulder the responsibility of this price hike and inflation,” Ms Choudhary added in a press release today.
Meanwhile, Mr L Moorthy, the State Treasurer, has requested all the like minded Political parties/NGOs/Associations/ANC/Police personnel/traders/small shop owners to support this Bandh on principle and also to the members of the public to render their full open support and fight against the price hike of Petrol by the Government.
