Port Blair, May 28: This is in continuation of Secretary-cum-Director (Transport), A&N Administration’s Press Note dated 07.01.2012 requesting the motor vehicle owners to affix High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) in their vehicles. Now, as per the direction of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, all the registered vehicle owners (Govt. and Private) plying their vehicles in Port Blair and out station islands are again requested to ensure affixation of HSRP on their motor vehicles latest by 15.06.2012. All the registered vehicle owners are advised to get their vehicle fitted with HSRP failing which action as per the provisions of MV Act and Rules would be initiated against them.
