Port Blair, May 28: The National Environment Awareness Campaign (NEAC) of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India is implemented by Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) and educational institutions throughout the country.
The C.P. Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation is the Regional Resource Agency (RRA) for implementing NEAC in the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The theme of the campaign for this year is ‘BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION’.
In this regard the CPR Foundation is organizing a pre-proposal workshop for participating NGOs and educational institutions on Wednesday, May 30, 2012between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. at the Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair.
“NGOs and educational institutions may collect the necessary application form and guidelines on submitting a letter of request at the venue of the workshop. For further information, they may contact the undersigned at 94742 24389/9933282500,” a release said here today.
