Port Blair, May 27: The 48th Death Anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru the first Prime Minister and the architect of modern India, was observed at Gandhi Bhavan today at 11.00 A.M.
The Programme began with garlanding the portrait of “Panditji” by Mr. Hamid Ali, Vice President, ANTCC and other senior leaders of the Congress Party. Thereafter, floral tributes were offered by all present in the function.
