Billyground, July 10: A Financial Literacy Camp was held on today the 10th July 2014 at Govt. Secondary School Govindapur (Nimbudera), Middle Andaman, organized by State Bank of India, Billyground Branch. In connection the Financial Literacy Camp, a Quiz competition was also held in the school and a large no of students participated in the competition.
On the occasion Manager, SBI, Billyground Branch delivered an influential and inspiring speech on Financial Literacy Camp and also highlights the main motto and objectives of this Camp to make aware the student community.
She said that after completion of Class XII if any student is facing financial challenges, how SBI extend their support to those poor students. More over the manager of SBI, Billyground Branch has given total information about the importance of banking system to the students as well as to the school faculty members.
On the occasion other dignitaries Shri C.G.Hari (HM), PS Govindapur, Shri Santosh Kumar Karmakar GTT (Sciene) and Shri Durgesh Jha also addressed the students in connection the Financial Literacy Camp.
The Headmaster of Govt. Secondary School expressed his appreciation to the Manger, SBI, Billyground Branch for choosing his school and organizing such important and eye opening programme at his school. He also highly expressed gratefulness to the other dignitaries present on the occasion.
