Port Blair, July 08: High waves in the range of 3.0 – 4.8 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 08-07-2014 to 23:30 hours of 10-07-2014 along the west coast of Andaman Islands between Ten Degree Channel to Coco Channel. Current speed vary between 87 – 103 cm/sec. Under the influence of strong Southwest monsoon current, strong southwesterly wind speed reaching between 45 to 55 KMPH and rough to very seas likely along off Andaman & Nicobar coasts . Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea. Local Cautionary Signal No III hoisted at Port Blair Ports.
