Port Blair, July 07: Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore team has decided to open centre for GATE examination at Port Blair in Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination is scheduled to be held in the month of February/March 2015. Online registration for GATE examination will be start from September 2, 2014. All the interested students have been advised to access the website http://gateapp.iitkgp.ac.in/gate/ for registration. Last date for submission of Online Application is October 3, 2014.
According to an information, most of the public sector companies carry out recruitment in their organization based on the GATE score. The matter was pursued by BRAIT for more than a year for the benefit of the engineers of these Islands who otherwise had to go to mainland for writing GATE exams, a BRAIT communication here said.
