Port Blair, June 23: In his bid to review the functioning of the new Department under him, the Secretary (IP), Mr. S.N. Misra visited the Information & Publicity Division of the Directorate of IP &T today. The Director (IP), In-charge, Mr. V.K. Misra briefed the Secretary on the occasion.
The Secretary, during the visit, mainly stressed on giving a facelift to the building as a whole and maintaining cleanliness in and around. He wanted the Department to create a proper ambience for the staff as well as visitors. Weeding out of the old & obsolete furniture and other items should be done at the earliest for this purpose, he ordered.
