Port Blair, Mar 19: The Bharatiya Janta Party today declared name of Bishna Pada Ray, the sitting Member of Parliament, as party’s candidate for coming Lok Sabha Elections from A & N Constituency.
With this the uncertainty and all speculations have ended within the party. This year Vishal Jolly and Dr. Jijith Rekh had also in the race for party’s tickets for LS elections.
“Of course there were some hiccups but the name was finally cleared when Narendra Modi himself interfered into this matter,” said a senior party worker.
