Port Blair, Oct 10: The Lt. Governor’s Secretariat has sanctioned an amount of Rs 1,50,000- ( Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand Only) from the Lt. Governor ‘s relief fund facilitating the treatment of Mrs. Jaya Roy at mainland hospital. Earlier, the Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray hadmade a request for the grant of financial assistance for the medical treatment at mainland hospital in respect of Mrs. Jaya Roy , aged 27 years, w/o Mr. Subhash Ch. Roy, R/o Pinaki Nagar under Hari Nagar Gram Panchayat, Mayabunder vide his letter dated 11.09.2013. On release of financial assistance, Mr. Ray has expressed gratitude towards the Lt. Governor.
