Port Blair, Mar 09: A solemn function is being organized to pay tribute to the pioneer Freedom Fighters on 10th March 2012 at 9 AM at the Chatham Memorial to commemorate the arrival of first batch of Freedom Fighters of First War of Independence in these islands in the year 1858. Mr. Jalaj Srivastav, Chief Secretary (In-charge) & Pr. Secretary (Fin.) will lay wreath at the Memorial followed by others.
