Port Blair, Mar 05: Mr. B P Ray, Member of Parliament had recenty raised the issue of unsatisfactory functioning of the services of BSNL in A&N Islands with Mr. Kapil Sibbal the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, GOI.
In reply Mr. Milind Deora, Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, GOI, intimated Mr. Ray that augmentation of the existing infrastructure being made as detailed against each of his points raised by him. The Minister promised that with augmentation of the existing infrastructure services in these Islands are expected to improve substantially.
