Port Blair, Aug 25: The Prajarajyam Party of AN Islands, merged with the Congress Party, AN Islands on 22nd August, 2013, the birthday day of ten time winner of Filmfare awards (south) and a four time winner of Nandi awards, Padmabhushan Dr K Chiranjeevi at Tiranga Park in a function chaired by the PCC Chief Kuldeep Rai Sharma. In his inaugural speech, Kuldeep stated that he and his Party members are very happy to be a part of the birth day function of Padmabhushan Dr K Chinanjeevi who is not only a great veteran actor but also a great human being and a Politician.
Kuldeep also stated that he and his Party is also very happy with the decission of the members of the Prajarajyam Party, ANI to merge with the Congress Party by recording their full faith on the activities, plans and programmes of Congress Party and dynamic leadership of National and local Party Chiefs.At the outset P Bhima Rao, a leader of Congress Party and member of Chiranjeevi Mega Star fan club has welcomed both the Political Party heads Kuldeep ,B Hemaraju and the gathering. D Krishna Rao, General Secretary,PRP briefed about the Prajarajyam Party while B Hemaraju, the President of Prajarajyam Party recorded the Party’s faith on Congress Party and its local chief Kuldeep.
He also spoke about Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, founded by Dr Chiranjeevi which has crossed the one lakh mark in collecting blood and more than 96,000 people have been helped with blood by this blood bank to record his proud of being a follower of Chiranjeevi. He also spoke about the notable achievements of the PCC Chief Kuldeep and stated that in these islands only Kuldeep can bring peace, harmony and developments through his vision, long experience and love for the fellow islanders and the islands.
In the function, the birthday cake was cut by Kuldeep Rai Sharma and then the merger of Prajarajya Party with the Congress Party was officially declared followed by cultural programme as a token of joy and mark the historical event.
