Port Blair, Mar 04: The Naval Kindergarten, Port Blair celebrated its 35th Annual Day on 01 and 03 Mar 12 at Dweepika Auditorium. The show comprised colourful variety of performances by the budding talents from both branches of Naval Kindergarten, Port Blair (Vijay Baugh and Minnie Bay). The programme with dance, skits and individual performances, beautifully displayed the musical, choreographical and acting talents of the tiny tots.
Naval Kindergarten, Minnie Bay celebrated Annual Day on 03 Mar 12. The theme of the programme was ‘Wonderland’. All the children of Nursery, Lower KG and Upper KG took part in the programme. The dazzling display of dances by children with perfect steps to the tune and rhythm kept the audience glued to the stage. The function commenced with the welcome song by the Nursery kids and thereafter children paid tribute to Lord Ganesha with ‘Ganesh Vandana’. It was heartening to see the ‘Fashion Show’ of Nursery kids showcashing costumes from different countries conveying the message of universal brotherhood. The ‘Punjabi Dance’ was a visual delight. The Lower KG children potrayed the message ‘Unity is strength’ through ‘Jungle Dance’. The fairy tale ‘Snow white and the seven dwarfs’ was enacted beautifully by Upper KG children. The highlight of the programme was the little ones conducting the entire programme themselves with élan. On conclusion of the performances, the Chief Guest for the event, Mrs Pooja Marwah, President Defence Wives Welfare Association (DWWA) felicitated the tiny tot and NKG Staff for putting up an excellent show.
Naval Kindergarten, Vijay Baugh celebrated Annual Day on 01 Mar 12. The theme of the programme was ‘Toonpur ki Duniya’. The show started with the vandana and welcome song by UKG and Nursery. The gist of the popular TV reality show ‘Dance India Dance’ was remarkably performed by the Lower KG children. The show included ‘Rajasthani Folk Dance’, ‘Jungle Dance’ and the main highlight was the children dancing to the tunes of popular ‘Kolaveri Di’ song.
The spectacular dance drama, ‘descenders of the planet’ was performed by the Upper KG children covering the eco-friendly messages like Save Trees, Reduce, Recycle, Reissue of items and Save Earth. Finally ‘Good Night’ song was presented by the little angels of Nursery. Mrs. Soena Sethi, President, Naval Wives Welfare Association (NWWA) was Chief Guest on the occasion. The programme ended on an appreciative note by the Chief Guest for the efforts put in by the children and staff of Naval KG School.
