Port Blair, Jul 22: The Jan Kranti Party, A & N Islands in a letter to the Principal Secretary Education Department, A & N Islands has drawn his attention to the fact that the tender notice published in the Daily Telegram dated 2nd July, 2013 is objectionable because the EMD has been fixed at Rs. 10.00 lakhs which only a highly rich businessman can afford. The JKP suggest that in order to encourage the small traders and creates employment Tender should be made in small quantity according to requirement of each DEO. This will help create sizeable employment they added, a communication from K.V. Ram Babu, General Secretary, JKP said.
