Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar. 19: A three-day State-level Re-orientation training programme on ‘management of metabolic disorders in the Homoeopathic System of Medicine’ was organized by the Ayush Wing of the DHS in collaboration with ANSAS under NAM for Medical Officers and CHOs (Homoeo) under the Health Department concluded today.
Dr. Pradip Kumar Bairi, Former Professor and Head of the Department of Repertory, MBH Medical College and Hospital; Former Guest Faculty, National Institute of Homoeopathy, Kolkata; and Ex-Professor, Department of Repertory, D.N. De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital; Dr. Sajeev, BHMS, MD (Practice of Medicine), Chief Medical Officer, Department of Homoeopathy, Government of Kerala and District Convenor, Janani Infertility Project; and Dr. Santi Adhikari, Research Officer In-charge, Central Research Unit, SVP under CCRH, GoI. Dr. Manabika Dutta, MO I/c (Homoeo), Ayush, DHS, along with the trainees, were also present on the occasion.
Dr. Subroto Saha, Project Director, ANACS, DHS, lauded the efforts of AYUSH and highlighted that Homoeopathy, being a holistic system, plays an important role in the management of metabolic disorders, particularly in view of their increasing prevalence in the country.
The training programme also included role plays and case-based discussions. Dr. Rani, MO (H), PHC Kadamtala, proposed the vote of thanks.
