Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 17: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Sri Vijaya Puram Unit, has extended a warm invitation to students across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to actively participate in the upcoming Students Conference 2026.
The conference will be held on 22nd March 2026 (Sunday) at 8:30 AM at the Auditorium, Anthropological Survey of India, Regional Center, Sri Vijaya Puram (In front of Bengali Club).
This year’s conference is centered on the theme “Vikshit Yuva for Vikshit Bharat 2047”, which aims to inspire and engage the youth in discussions about nation-building, leadership, and the role of students in shaping a developed India by 2047.
The event is also being organized as part of the Celebration of 150 Years of Vande Mataram, reflecting the spirit of patriotism, unity, and dedication among the youth. Through this conference, ABVP seeks to provide a platform for students to exchange ideas, develop leadership qualities, and contribute towards social and national progress.
A key highlight of the conference will be a focused discussion on the current status of Higher education in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, addressing existing challenges, opportunities, and the way forward for improving educational infrastructure and accessibility in the region.
ABVP leaders stated that the conference will include interactive sessions, discussions, and opportunities for students to connect with like-minded individuals committed to the nation’s growth.
