
Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 12: Mr. Deepanshu Vohra, Assistant Commissioner, Rangat, conducted an extensive field visit to Gram Panchayat Shivapuram 12.03.2026. The visit was aimed at strengthening grassroots governance and addressing “burning issues” that have long impacted the residents of the region.
Mr. Venkateswar Rao, Pradhan Gram Panchayat Shivapuram welcomed the Assistant commissioner with the Boquete and Shawal. During his visit, the Assistant Commissioner held a productive interaction with the Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members, led by Mr. Venkateswar Rao, Pradhan Gram Panchayat Shivapuram. The discussion centered on critical infrastructure gaps and public grievances that require urgent administrative intervention.
The Key issues addressed during the Interaction such as Dilapidated condition of the Nation Highway, long pending demand for construction of TV Kullam Bridge, Construction of Wooden Bridge at Panchawati Eco Tourism Beach and various community issues. Speaking on the occasion, the Assistant Commissioner assured the PRI members that the District Administration is committed to time-bound resolutions. He stated that the issues pertaining to the National Highway would be taken up with the NHIDCL on priority, and local developmental works would be fast-tracked through departmental coordination.
Mr. Deepanshu Vohra took detailed note of the grievances and conducted on-the-spot inspections of several project sites and physically witnessed the current status of the TV Kullam Bridge, Eco Tourism Beach Panchawati and ongoing repair and maintenance work of National Highway. He also visited the Solid Waste Management Cluster under Gram Panchayat Shivapuram and appreciated the efforts taken by GP Shivapuram in keeping the SWM Cluster in an organized manner.
