Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 10: All LPG consumers are hereby informed that Indian Oil Corporation Limited has introduced important system-based guidelines for LPG cylinder booking and delivery across the country to ensure greater transparency, efficiency, and proper monitoring of LPG distribution. As per the new system implemented by IOCL:
LPG cylinder booking has been made 100% digital, and consumers are required to book cylinders only through the authorized digital platforms such as mobile apps, SMS, IVRS, or online portals.
LPG cylinders will be delivered only to consumers whose e-KYC has been duly updated in the system. Consumers who have not yet completed their e-KYC are requested to do so at the earliest to avoid any inconvenience.
A mandatory gap of 25 days between the last delivery and the next booking/invoice has been implemented in the system. Consumers will be able to place their next booking only after completing this prescribed period.
In view of the above system changes, offline bookings are no longer possible in the system. Consumers are therefore strongly advised to ensure that their e-KYC is completed and that LPG bookings are made through the authorized digital booking platforms only.
All valued LPG consumers are requested to extend their cooperation and understanding in implementing these guidelines issued by IOCL, which are aimed at ensuring fair distribution, improved transparency, and better service delivery.
For any assistance or clarification, consumers may contact the distributor office Reem Indane, RGT Road during working hours.
