Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 08: The Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) on 08th March, celebrated International Women’s Day at Hotel Star Paradise, Marine Hill, Port Blair, with great enthusiasm and respect by felicitating the women entrepreneurs of AATO in recognition of their contribution to the tourism industry of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The felicitation ceremony was graced by women representatives from the cruise operators of the islands, who honoured the women members of AATO for their dedication and achievements.
The honours were done by Ms. Bindu from Makruzz Cruise, Ms. Prajukta from Nautika Cruise, and Ms. Bharati from Green Ocean Cruise, who appreciated the role of women entrepreneurs in strengthening tourism and inspiring future generations.
Mr. Mohan Vinod, President of AATO, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of women’s participation in the tourism sector. He appreciated the efforts and commitment of women members who are playing a significant role in the growth of tourism in the islands.
The event concluded with appreciation for the growing contribution of women entrepreneurs in the tourism fraternity and reaffirmed AATO’s commitment to encouraging and supporting women in the industry.
