Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 08: A solemn function will be organized at the Chatham Memorial on 10th March, 2026 at 0800 hours to commemorate the arrival of First Batch of Freedom Fighters of First War of Independence (1857) in the Islands. The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman will lay a wreath at the Memorial.
All are invited to join the solemn function for paying tributes to the heroes of the First War of Independence.
