Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb 06: All arrangements for conducting the 10th Edition of Andaman Marathon 2026 by the Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ANCCI), Sri Vijaya Puram in association with the Andaman & Nicobar Administration on 8th February, 2026 is going on in full swing. Addressing media persons Dr. K. Chandrasekaran, President ACCI said that Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM, (Retd.), the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency will flag off the event from the historic National Memorial Cellular Jail at 5:15am on February 8.
He said that more than 3000 runners from A&N Islands as well as from mainland have registered for the much-awaited event. Elaborate arrangements are being made for the mega event by the ANCCI with the support of all the line departments of the A&N Administration. The registered participants have been asked to assemble at the starting point at Cellular Jail where a briefing will be held sharp at 4.30am.
The kit (including T-Shirts, bibs containing electronic timer chips & registration number) for the participants will be distributed between 11 AM & 2 PM from the Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram on 7th February, 2026. Mohammed H Jadwet, Chairman, Marathon Committee–2026 & Past President, ANCCI also addressed the media.

All marathon participants are requested to park their vehicles at swimming pool/stadium parking area.
