
Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb 03: A delegation of SAHYOG met Ms. Purva Garg, the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, and discussed various issues concerning the overall development of South Andaman District, with special focus on revenue administration and other relevant civic matters.
During the meeting, Pt. Gyan Prakash Mishra, President of SAHYOG, formally welcomed the Deputy Commissioner and extended the organisation’s full cooperation and support to the district administration for initiatives aimed at the welfare and well-being of islanders.
The interaction was cordial and constructive, reflecting SAHYOG’s commitment to work collaboratively with the administration in addressing public concerns and strengthening governance at the district level.
Also present during the meeting were Mr. Selvam, General Secretary of SAHYOG, and Mr. Manikandan, Treasurer, who shared their perspectives on community issues and developmental priorities of South Andaman.
The Deputy Commissioner reportedly appreciated the gesture and assured continued engagement with civil society organisations for effective and people-centric administration.
