Port Blair, January 31, 2026 – The automotive landscape of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands reached a new pinnacle as Platinum Kia (Platinum Autocare Private Limited) officially launched the highly anticipated second-generation 2026 Kia Seltos. The grand unveiling took place at the flagship showroom in Bhathu Basti, blending high-tech automotive innovation with an afternoon of world-class entertainment and customer celebration. The event was held in the distinguished presence of the Directors of Platinum Autocare Private Limited, Mr. Mohan Lall and Mr. Eklavya Lall. The ceremony was further elevated by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Santosh Sahu, Regional Manager, State Bank of India (SBI), and Guest of Honour Mr. Rajat Subra Ghosh, Head East – Aftersales & Customer Experience, Kia India.
Celebrating the First “Protagonists”
In a special highlight of the afternoon, Platinum Kia honored its first five customers who had pre-booked the 2026 Seltos, marking their place in the island’s automotive history. Out of these early adopters, two customers took delivery of their vehicles today, becoming the very first in the islands to drive home the new model. The keys were handed over directly by the dignitaries, followed by a felicitation with gift hampers.

It features a bold “Digital Tiger Face” with Star Map LED lighting and a futuristic cabin headlined by a 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display. Beyond its premium aesthetics, the SUV sets a new benchmark for luxury with motorized flush door handles, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. Safety is paramount, with 6 standard airbags and an upgraded Level 2 ADAS suite offering 21 autonomous features to ensure a secure driving experience across the archipelago.
