
Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb 01: State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Sri Vijaya Puram has successfully completed 38 days training programme from 23rd Dec to 30th Jan., 2026 for Assistant Bookkeeper. The training programme which culminated on 31st Jan was attended by unemployed youth from different parts of the Islands. The trainees were given exposure in various topics related to accounting like GST filing, Income Tax Filing, GeM registration etc. They were also given practical experience in operating Tally Software.
The valedictory function was graced by Mr. Santosh Sahu, Regional Manager, State Bank of India and Mr. P K Ummer Farooq, Chief Manager, UTLBC. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sahu congratulated the trainees for successfully completing the training and advised the trainees to make use of the knowledge for income generation.
Mr. Ummer Farooq UTLBC, Chief Manger appreciated the trainees for choosing this training programme which has high scope in the market. Mr. C Raj, Director of SBI RSETI mentioned that 19 trainees has successfully completed the training and also highlighted that the institute had also arranged for placement of the candidates.
