Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 21:As part of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative and in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the Foundation Day of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura were celebrated with enthusiasm on 21.01.2026 at Lok Niwas.
Persons hailing from Manipur participated in the programme. An interaction and experience-sharing session was conducted during the event. A short documentary highlighting the Foundation Day of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura were also screened.
The programme concluded with high tea, a group photograph and presentation of mementos to the invitees.
The participants expressed their gratitude to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and Lok Niwas for the initiative and for providing them a valuable platform for interaction and exchange of experiences.
