Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 18: The 22nd Biswa Bangla Sahitya O Sanskriti Utsav (World Bengali Literature and Cultural Festival) 2026, organised by Aapanjan Weekly Newspaper is ongoing in Haldia (from 16 to 18 January 2026).
Mr. Anadiranjan Biswas, Editor of Baakprotima Little Magazine; and bilingual fortnightly newspaper News Spotlight published from Sri Vijayapuram, participated in the event as an invited poet-representative from Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Mr. Biswas presented his poem in the fourth session of second day (17 January 2026). He is also one of the selected litterateurs to preside over a poetry reading session.
