Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 16: The Department of Post, Ministry of Communications, has launched a nationwide special campaign to help policy holders revive their lapsed Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) policies. The revival drive, which commenced on January 14, 2026, will remain active for a period of three months, concluding on April 14, 2026.
To encourage citizens to secure their financial future, the Directorate of PLI has announced significant waivers on late fees and default charges. The concessions are structured based on the total premium amount receivable:

These concessions apply to the default fee only and require the payment of the revival amount in a single lump-sum installment.
Policyholders have been encouraged to visit their nearest Post Office or CPC (Central Processing Centre) to check their eligibility and take advantage of these limited-time financial waivers.
