
Diglipur, Dec 28: The Block Project Office, Diglipur, under Samagra Shiksha (Inclusive Education) organized a Block Level Exposure Visit at GPS Subhashgram under the guidance of Mrs. Sulochana, Block Project Officer, Diglipur. The programme aimed to strengthen pre-primary education by promoting inclusive, child-friendly, and activity-based learning practices.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mrs. N. Riya Nandan, PSRT, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp. Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Sulochana emphasized that exposure visits play a vital role in enabling teachers to observe best practices, improve classroom organization, and effectively address diverse learning needs, especially for Children with Disabilities (CwSN).
During the programme, various resource persons were present to deliver sessions on different topics, including classroom environment, effective use of teaching-learning materials, activity-based teaching methods, and smooth transition between activities. Teachers were also oriented on inclusive education strategies, utilization of block-level resource rooms for CwSN, and goal setting for classroom improvement.
Overall, the programme was coordinated by Mrs. N. Riya Nandan, PSRT, DEO Diglipur, and concluded with a vote of thanks.
