Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 20: The Science Wing of the Directorate of Education, A&N Administration organized State Level Water Conservation Model / Project Competition/ Exhibition, 2025-26 for students of Classes VI to IX of all Govt. & Govt. Aided Schools in offline mode for South Andaman & Wimberlygunj Zone at Shiksha Sadan, Sri Vijaya Puram and the rest 7 Zones participated in online mode today.
The Director of Education, A&N Administration, Mr. Vikram Singh inaugurated the programme and interacted with the students in online and offline mode to promote awareness of water conservation and purification of rain water and how to save rainwater in future. The Director engaged the students, discussing the importance of water conservation and ways to implement sustainable practices in daily life.
The judgment was done by Mr. A. Gopal, Project Officer, CPR Environment and Mr. Nambirajan , Assistant Engineer, Water, SVPMC.
The programme concluded with necessary direction by Mr. Ram Pravesh, Deputy Director, Education (Science) and vote of thanks by Mr. Rajesh Kumar Pandey, Science Consultant, DDE(Sc.), Shiksha Sadan, Sri Vijaya Puram.
