Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 15: On the 14th of April, 2025 the Andaman and Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC), under the leadership of its President, solemnly observed the 134th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ramji Ambedkar at the Congress Office, Port Blair.
The occasion commenced with the garlanding of Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait by the President Mr.Rangalal Halder and Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker, followed by floral tributes offered by senior leaders, Mahila Leaders, Heads of Frontal Organizations and Dept & Cells and other dignitaries. The gathering paid homage to the architect of the Indian Constitution, reflecting on his invaluable contributions to social justice and equality.
Speaking on the occasion, the ANTCC President highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s visionary role in shaping modern India and emphasized the continued relevance of his ideals in today’s society. He urged the gathering, especially the youths to draw inspiration from Dr. Ambedkar’s life and work towards building an inclusive and equitable nation.
