
Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 15: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Andaman and Nicobar Islands today commemorates the 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The event was held at the Ambedkar Auditorium at Ambedkar statue in Sri Vijayapuram, where students from different Colleges of Sri Vijay Puram participated with great enthusiasm and reverence.
The program commenced with Mr. Satyajit Halder (City Secretary) warmly welcoming the gathering and setting the tone for the day’s proceedings. Mr. Tejinder Singh (City President) then addressed the audience, highlighting the significance of the day and Dr. Ambedkar’s monumental contributions to the nation.
Speaking on the occasion Dr.Kandi Muthu (Vivag Pramukh) narrate the inspiring life journey of Dr. Ambedkar, followed by Dr.Santosh Kumar Jha (Dakshin Bengal Vice President), who emphasized how Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar has become a true role model for generations to come. Mr. Rohit Sharma spoke passionately about the importance of education in Dr. Ambedkar’s life and how it served as a powerful tool for social transformation.
Mr. Ayush Raj (ALC, Covenor) then shared insights on what students can learn from Dr. Ambedkar’s perseverance, intellect, and dedication to justice and equality. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. M.Vinesh (City, Joint Secretary), expressing gratitude to all the participants and attendees.
