Diglipur, Apr.11: As part of the ongoing celebrations for the International Year of Cooperatives-2025, an awareness program was organized today at BVB Mondal Public Secondary School, Diglipur. The event aimed to promote student involvement in the cooperative movement and to inspire the younger generation to adopt cooperative values for a more inclusive and sustainable future.
The program was conducted by Shri Ajit Singh, Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies (ARCS-I), Diglipur, along with Shri K. Simachalam, Inspector of Cooperative Societies, and Shri Saikat Nath, Sub-Inspector of
Cooperative Societies. During the session, the speakers highlighted the importance of cooperatives in rural development and social empowerment.
They encouraged students to actively participate in cooperative initiatives and to embrace values such as self-help, democracy, equality, and solidarity. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, reflecting a growing interest in cooperative principles among the youth.
