Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr. 4: The A&N Archives, Secretariat, A&N Administration has conducted two days workshop-cum- training programme on ‘Records Management’ for the designated Departmental Records Officers of the UT Administration in association with the National Archives of India, New Delhi. Altogether, 80 Records Officers of different Departments were trained and benefited.
The workshop-cum-training programme concluded today in the presence of Smti Smitha. R, IAS, Secretary (Archives), A&N Administration with the issuance of Certificate to the participants. The workshop was conducted by Shri Syed Farid Ahmed, Deputy Director, Shri Udhay Shankar, Assistant Director and Dr. Sanjeev Thingam, Archivist of National Archives of India, New Delhi. The training programme focused on enhancing archival preservation and Records Keeping practices.
This workshop is a step forward in strengthening archival management and ensuring the conservation of historical records.
