Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr. 3: In accordance with the provisions of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Value Added Tax Regulation, 2017, streamlining the same, the Commissionerate of VAT has developed a dedicated online VAT portal viz. e-VAT Seva, with the url https://vat.andaman.gov.in. This portal has been established to facilitate the timely submission of monthly tax remittances and quarterly VAT returns by registered dealers under the said regulation.
The mandatory transition to e-filing shall come into effect from 1st April, 2025, applicable for Quarter 4 of the Financial Year 2024-25 onwards. All VAT-registered dealers have therefore been directed to register themselves on the above-mentioned portal and ensure submission of their tax dues and returns exclusively through the digital platform within the prescribed timeline as notified under the applicable rules.
