Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 28: Recruitment of Agniveer in the Army is taking place in Andaman Islands. The recruitment is open to unmarried youth (male and female) under Agniveer for various categories, including Agniveer (General Duty), Agniveer (Technical), Agniveer (Clerk/Store Keeper Technical), Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass, Agniveer Tradesman 8th pass, Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant, Sepoy Pharma and Agniveer General Duty (Women Military Police). Online registration is open for both the settlers and locals until 10th April 2025. A team of recruiting officers from Chennai will be available at the NCC office, Junglighat, to assist with registration for all the desirous candidates from 01st April to 09th April 2025.
For detailed eligibility criteria, candidates are advised to refer to the official advertisement available at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be carried out online in May 2025. Following the CEE, qualified candidates will be invited to participate in a recruitment rally in June 2025. Further there will be Bonus marks awarded for NCC qualified candidates. Candidates are advised that only hard work and preparation will ensure their selection based on merit.
