Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 20: The State Level Technical Committee Meeting (SLTC) review meeting for fixation of scale of finance of various seasonal crops, vegetables, floriculture, fruits, spices, honeybee rearing, and Medicinal & Aromatic crops grown in A & N Islands including fixation of scale of finance to KCC- Fishermen and KCC- Animal Husbandry as working capital for the year 2025-26 was held on 19th March 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Chamber of Director of Agriculture, A & N Islands under Chairmanship of Dr. Apurva Sharma, DANICS, Director of Agriculture, Sri Vijaya Puram, A & N Administration.
At the outset Mr. Omkar Nath, Sr. Manager (Dev.), A & N StCB Ltd., Sri Vijaya Puram, welcomed Dr. Apurva Sharma, DANICS, Chairman, SLTC, Mr. Rahul Damani, Deputy General Manager, NABARD, Dr. K A Naveen, Director, AH & VS Sri Vijaya Puram, Mr. Ummer Farooq, Chief Manager, UTLBC, Mr. Ravi Shankar, Chief Manager (Lead District Manager), SBI, Sri Vijaya Puram, Miss. Glory Rao, Asst. Director, Fisheries Dept., Mr. Jiju Kumar, ARCS, Cooperative Dept., Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Joint Director, Agriculture Dept., Dr. S C Rekha, Asst. Director, Agriculture Dept., Mr. Gandhi Paroi, Mr. Amal Samaddar, Mr. Avtar Singh, Mr. Balaram Mistry and Mr. Bimal Ch. Gain, Farmers representative from Ferrargunj, Diglipur, Campbell Bay, Rangat and Nimbudera and Mr. Raghubir Singh, General Manager (Dev.), Member Secretary (i/c), SLTC and Bank officials.
Mr. Omkar Nath, Sr. Manager (Dev.) highlighted the objective of calling this meeting for review the unit cost of previous scale of finance for the year 2024-25 for fixation of the unit cost of scale of finance for existing and new scale of finance for the year 2025-26 for implementation of KCC-Crop, KCC-Animal Husbandry and KCC- Fishermen.
