Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 09: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee on the 08th of March,2025 celebrated the International Women’s Day at Gandhi Bhawan, Port Blair. The event was graced by prominent Mahila leaders, ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder, Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker, and Ex-MP of A&N Islands Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma.
The programme was dedicated to honoring the invaluable contributions of women in society. As a mark of appreciation, respect were given to the womens, highlighting their strength, resilience, and achievements. A cake-cutting ceremony was held to commemorate the occasion, symbolizing unity and empowerment.
Addressing the gathering, the esteemed leaders spoke about the importance of women’s empowerment, gender equality, and the role of women in shaping a progressive society. They reaffirmed the commitment of the Congress party towards ensuring women’s rights and fostering an environment of inclusivity and growth.
